To provide and install a motorized batting cage(s) for Hemlock Public School District. Proposals must be submitted as one original and one copy, clearly labeled, and received prior to the specified closing date and time. The proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or satisfactory Security Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price. The successful bidder will be required to provide a satisfactory performance and labor and material payment bond, each in an amount equal to 25 percent of the Contract Sum, within ten days after notification of intent to enter into contract. A sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship between the bidder (or its employees) and any member of the Hemlock Public School District Board or Superintendent, as well as a statement on Iran Linked Business status, must be included. The District reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all bids, or accept any bid that serves the District's interest. All communications must go through the Director of Business Operations and Human Resources. Proposals must meet or exceed specifications, and any exceptions must be clearly detailed. Voluntary alternates to the specification are allowed only if a base proposal is also submitted, and must be described in detail with separate pricing for evaluation.
