Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a transportation facility in Buffalo, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade transportation facility.

The work provides for the furnishing of all labor, materials, appliances, tools, equipment, and plant, and the performing of all work in accordance with the specifications and drawings. The project includes: full depth asphalt pavement reconstruction of the General Aviation Apron; Taxiway P & Q concrete rubblization and rehabilitation with an asphalt overlay; realignment and new full depth pavement sections for pavement expansions on Taxiway P & Q; partial reconstruction of Taxiway P1 and P2 to accommodate grade changes and radius expansions; geometry improvements; pavement and turf drainage improvements; demolition of excess pavement areas converting them to turf; stormwater collection system improvements; stormwater management and soil erosion control measures; removal of existing glycol collection pan inserts and construction of a new centralized glycol collection facility; replacement of airfield guidance signs and taxiway edge lights including bases, cable, and conduit; pavement markings and aircraft tie-downs. The contractor must perform not less than 25% of the work with its own forces. Bid security must be provided for not less than ten percent of the total bid price if the base bid exceeds $50,000. The NFTA reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all bids, and to extend the bidding period. Bid security may be submitted electronically or delivered physically.
