Sealed bid proposals are requested for the 2026-2028 CWD Water Main Breaks - Pavement Repairs Program. Each bid must include the full name(s) of the party(ies) submitting the bid, an affidavit regarding interested parties, and for corporations not chartered in Ohio, a certificate authorizing them to conduct business in Ohio. Bids are to be accompanied by a bond or a certified/cashier's check from a solvent bank, payable to the City of Shaker Heights, amounting to at least ten percent (10%) of the total first-year bid. The bid bond or check serves as a guarantee that, if accepted, a contract will be entered and performance will be secured; otherwise, the bid security will be forfeited as liquidated damages. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and accept the bid deemed most favorable. Minority, female, and small business enterprises are encouraged to submit bids. No additional project-specific scope of work or technical requirements are detailed in this text.
