The CRDA is releasing this Request for Proposal ("RFP") to solicit proposals to engage one or more consulting firms (the "Consultant") on an as-needed basis to provide services in structural engineering and cost estimation as required, on an as-needed basis in Atlantic City and other locations throughout the State of New Jersey. The respondent shall provide the services directly. Services shall be as more fully set forth in the Section 2, Scope of Services, of this RFP. Questions Due Date: Dec 4th 2025, 12:00 PM EST Online Portal Respondents are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action), Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. 12101, et.seq.), N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 (Business Registration) and N.J.S.A. 10:5-1 (Law Against Discrimination). The successful respondent shall provide the following services: A. Prepare and review all structural plans require by the CRDA and provide structural reports as need, A. Prepare and review cost estimates for projects, including, without limitation, projects such as rehabilitation of existing property or new construction infrastructure costs. B. Perform inspections and prepare reports on the condition of buildings and other structures in accordance with applicable industry standards. C. Attend conferences and meetings with CRDA staff, representatives of federal, state or local governments and other interested parties, including municipal planning and/or zoning boards. D. Provide copies of drawings and other documents, as requested by the CRDA. CRDA shall reimburse actual cost incurred for making such copies. H. Assist in the preparation of documents for public bidding and evaluation of public bids. I. Prepare and submit preliminary permit applications upon request. All CRDA permitting is through the Division of Community Affairs (DCA) J. Review, advise and approve, when requested, contractor requisitions, change order requests, change orders and close out documents. The foregoing list of responsibilities is not exclusive; the CRDA and the successful respondent(s) may agree in writing to amend or augment the responsibilities set forth above. The CRDA reserves the right to determine the length of the contract, one (1) year, two (2) years, or one year with the option to extend for a second year, based on the competitiveness of the fees submitted for years 1 and 2 on Submittal 9.
