Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sparks, Nevada. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.
Work includes jack hammer, saw cut, excavate, milling, compaction, tack coat and asphalt patch on specified streets and all appurtenant work necessary to complete the project as stated in the bid specifications. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of bid amount is required, functioning as a penalty if the successful bidder fails to enter into a written contract. Prospective bidders must have a current Contractor's License under Nevada State Law for the specified work. All bids must be written and sealed, clearly marked, and delivered by the specified deadline. Bids delivered after the deadline or via Internet/email will not be accepted. The City reserves the right to reject any or accept any bid deemed in its best interest, and to waive any irregularities or informalities in the process. Bid documents and specifications are available from the City website. It is the bidder's responsibility to monitor the website for updates prior to submitting a bid.
