Remodeling of a clubhouse / community center in Corning, California. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 10,288-square-foot, two-story above grade clubhouse / community center.

Receive bids for the "Corning Veteran's Hall Remodel Project." Bids must be submitted on official forms and delivered in sealed envelopes marked with the project name and bidder's address. The contractor must pay at least the general prevailing wage rates as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of California. The project is subject to federal wage requirements and the Build America, Buy America Act, requiring all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials to be produced in the United States unless a specific waiver is approved. Bid, labor and material, and performance bonds are mandatory. The County may reject any or all bids and waive informalities or irregularities. Each bidder must be properly licensed in California and registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. The project is federally funded and must meet all stipulated requirements. Bidders are invited to attend a non-mandatory pre-bid walk-through at the project site.
