Coffee County Highway Department is accepting bids for the construction of a 40"-0" single span concrete bridge (90 skew) on Ferrells Loop Road over Duck River. Each bid should be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked with "Ferrells Loop Road over Duck River Bridge Replacement." No faxed or late bids will be accepted. Coffee County reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 49 CFR, Part 21 is required, prohibiting discrimination based on race, color, sex, disability, or national origin in federally assisted programs. Bidders may examine plans, specifications, and contract documents at the listed locations or may obtain them from Collier Engineering Company after paying a $100.00 non-refundable deposit per bridge project. At bid submittal, bidders must have a current Tennessee Contractor's License in the appropriate classification and provide evidence of compliance with Tennessee Code, Title 62, Chapter 6, Paragraph 119. All bidders must include the license number, expiration date, and license classification of both the bidding contractor and sub-contractor on the outside of the envelope containing the bid. No contract will be awarded to any firm or individual currently debarred by the State of Tennessee or the Federal Highway Administration. Completion - (360) calendar days or pay as liquidated damages the sum of $500.00 per calendar day thereafter.
