Bidder agrees to furnish all materials and equipment and to perform all labor necessary to install approximately +-2,974 LF of 21" PVC, +-567 LF of 20'' ductile iron, and +-81 LF of 12'' PVC and ductile iron gravity sewer main, +-320 VF of manhole construction, and +-115 LF of 30" casing by jack & bore. This work also includes, but is not limited to, clearing and grubbing, erosion and sediment control, grassing, construction staking, mobilization/demobilization, bonds, insurance, delivery of materials, and all other appurtenances necessary for completion of the work as shown on the Drawings. Time allotted for completion of work is 240 calendar days from the date of a written "Notice to Proceed" from Owner. All Work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. Therefore, the Contractor submitting a bid must list the license number of the Contractor performing the utility contracting on the Bid form and provide proof of a valid license. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that Bidder, whether because the Bid is not responsive or the Bidder is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the Owner. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days except as specifically provided in the Instructions to Bidders and/or by State Law.
