The purpose is to seek bids from responsive and responsible landscape and recreation contractors (S330) to install a new automatic irrigation system at Western Hills Elementary School according to the attached project manual, specifications, and drawings. The work includes installation of an automatic controller irrigation system supplied from an existing culinary water system, with a required minimum operating pressure of 80 PSI at the main connection. The contractor is responsible for verifying the water pressure prior to construction and reporting differences. Before any trenching, excavation, or digging below the surface, the contractor shall contact the owner, Blue Stakes, and other necessary entities to determine the locations of all underground utilities and structures as closely as possible. The contractor must protect all utilities and structures, and repair or replace any damage incurred, at no expense to the owner. The contractor must also take necessary precautions to protect existing site improvements (buildings, storm drains, fences, paving surfaces, grounds, utilities), restoring any damage to its original condition at the contractor's own expense.
