The project consists of the construction of an approximately one-million-gallon, cast-in-place reservoir. Work includes construction of a new concrete reservoir, overflow basin, site piping, valves, grading, miox system and building, electrical work to connect the new tank to the system, valve vault improvements, installation of a pressure reducing valve vault, altitude valve, and restoration of the site upon completion of work. All work must comply with the contract documents. Bids must be enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope plainly marked with the project title, name and address of the bidder, and accompanied by the bid security and other required documents. If mailed or delivered, the bid envelope must be enclosed in a separate envelope marked with the notation "BID ENCLOSED." Bids delivered by facsimile will not be accepted. All contractors and subcontractors must be licensed in the state of Washington. Work is subject to state prevailing wage rates. No person or organization shall be discriminated against based on race, religion, color, age, sex, or national origin, in consideration for an award. Minority business enterprises are encouraged to submit responses. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
