St. Johns County is soliciting a quote from qualified Suppliers to provide and install a 30 x 50 vertical roof at Sims Pit located at 1250 S. St. Johns St., St. Augustine, FL 32086, in accordance with the provided specifications. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision necessary to complete the purchase and installation of 30' x 50' vertical roof to cover concrete slab at Sims Pit, 1250 S. St. Johns St., St. Augustine, FL 32086 in full compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. The Contractor shall obtain all required permits and coordinate inspections as necessary. 2. Objectives o To construct a 30' x 50' vertical roof at Sims Pit. o 14' Leg Height o (2) Gable Ends o 14-guage metal roof; 1' longer than base length o Beige Color o Surface Type Concrete o To ensure the roof is safe, sturdy, and compliant with all local building codes and regulations. o To complete the project within the agreed-upon timeline. o All work to conducted during normal working hours Monday through Friday (8:00AM - 5:00PM). o Final inspection and approval of the structure. o Ensure panels are securely fastened and overlap correctly to prevent water penetration. o Use appropriate sealants where necessary to enhance weather resistance. o Ensure proper slope for drainage. o Conduct any necessary work, such as painting or applying protective coatings to the frame. o Ensure all edges are smooth and safe to prevent injury. o Conduct a thorough inspection of the completed carport structure. o The completed structure shall have a Wind Speed Rating in compliance with Florida Building Codes. o Structural integrity and safety. o Address any identified issues prior to final approval. o Provide documentation, including warranties for materials and any maintenance recommendations. o Conduct a final walkthrough with the client to ensure satisfaction with the completed project. 3.
