Demolition for a municipal facility in Port Jervis, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade municipal facility.
The work involves the demolition of the structure located at 95 Route 209, Port Jervis, New York, identified as SBL 52-1-18. All work necessary to complete the demolition project is to be included in the bid. The bid must be delivered to the Town Clerk's Office at the Town of Deerpark, and all bid envelopes must be marked appropriately. Bidders are required to execute a non-collusion bidding certificate pursuant to Section 103d of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York. Contractors and subcontractors must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including conditions of employment and minimum wage rates as specified. Attention of bidders is called to non-discrimination in employment and equal opportunity requirements. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any formality or technicality in the bid in the Owner's interest. The Owner may award any part of this bid and reject the rest. Information for bidders, drawings, and contract documents are available at specified locations, and digital copies may also be obtained. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 45 days after the opening of bids, with a mandatory 45-day extension by request of the Town. Section Includes: 1. Demolition and removal of buildings. 2. Disconnecting, capping or sealing, and [abandoning in-place] site utilities.
