Description

This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Port Jervis, New York. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.

The work includes furnishing materials and equipment for the gravity sand filters, supply, start-up, commissioning performance testing, and operator training of the proposed filter equipment. One contract will be awarded for this work by the City. Installation of filter media and equipment will be by a General Contractor under a separate contract. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee of at least five percent of the bid amount, payable to the City of Port Jervis, and the accepted bidder must execute the contract and provide performance and payment bonds, as well as insurance certificates, within fifteen days of contract award. Bidders must also execute a non-collusive bidding affidavit and comply with specified employment, minimum wage, non-discrimination, and minority and women's business enterprise participation requirements, as well as adhere to Build America, Buy America (BABA) provisions regarding use of U.S.-produced materials and products. Detailed requirements for bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award are provided in the instructions to bidders included in the bidding documents. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities in the interest of the Owner.
