Renovation of a water / sewer project in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
This project involves a complete modernization of the overhead traction elevator in the Chemical Building at the Fleur Drive Water Treatment Plant. The work includes removing all existing elevator equipment except the main guide rails and counterweight rails, and installing a new elevator cab, new hoistway door equipment and tracks, new signal fixtures, new landing systems, new hoistway and car wiring, along with all related building, mechanical, electrical, and life-safety upgrades necessary to bring the system into compliance with current local codes.
