Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Arcanum, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project; one-story above grade road / highway; and one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot.
The project consists of the reconstruction of South High Street and Blank Street within the Village of Arcanum, Ohio. Included in the scope are waterline, storm sewer, curb and gutter, sidewalk, and street improvements, as well as improvements to parking lots within the Village. Instructions to bidders: Bids must be signed and submitted on the separate bidding forms included in the Bidding Documents, in a sealed envelope, marked with "South High Street Reconstruction Project" and the Bidder's name and address. An original and two copies are required. Each bid must be accompanied by either a Bid Guaranty Bond for 100% of the bid amount or a certified/cashier's check for at least 10% of the bid amount. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for 100% of the bid amount. All contractors and subcontractors should use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor as much as practicable, and must comply with equal employment opportunity and relevant state and federal requirements. Bids will only be accepted from those on the Engineer's official list of plan holders. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after opening.
