Renovation of an educational facility in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.

The project consists of selective brick removal and replacement to facilitate removal and replacement of degraded lintels. New lintel installation includes steel angle lintel, through wall stainless steel flashing, weeps, and installation of new thru wall weeps. New lintels are to be field painted along with select existing lintels to remain. Additional work includes selective repointing of brick masonry, removal and replacement of sealant joints at portions of the water table, concrete stoop cap repairs, sealing perimeter of concrete walks to walls, and replacement of one concrete stoop. Bids are to be submitted electronically with an uploaded copy of bid security as specified in the instructions. A 100% Contract Performance and Payment Bond is required within ten days after receipt of Notice of Award. No bid may be withdrawn for forty-five days after the opening. There is a participation goal of 10% for certified Targeted Small Businesses. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the bid deemed in the Owner's best interest. Preference is given to products and provisions grown and coal produced within the State of Iowa. This project has a participation goal for certified Targeted Small Businesses. The participation goal of 10% is specified in the Special Conditions.
