Renovation of an educational facility in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
The project consists of, but is not limited to, replacing the existing dry cooler system on the roof to include the dry cooler, pump package, expansion tank, and piping. Steel framing will be added to the existing curb. A new dry cooler, pump package, expansion tank, valves, and piping will be installed. New insulation with jacketing will be included. Electrical work includes demolition of existing power distribution to old equipment and installing new power to equipment. Dry cooler control wiring removal and replacement shall be included. Bids will be received for a stipulated sum contract. Bid security is required, and a 100% Contract Performance and Payment Bond must be furnished within ten days of Notice of Award. There is a participation goal of 10% for certified Targeted Small Businesses. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities, and accept the bid deemed in the Owner's best interest.
