Renovation of an educational facility in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
The project consists of replacing the existing dry cooler system on the roof, including the dry cooler, pump package, expansion tank, and piping. A new dry cooler, pump package, expansion tank, valves, and piping will be installed, along with new insulation with jacketing. Electrical work includes demolition of existing power distribution to old equipment and installing new power to equipment. Dry cooler control wiring removal and replacement are included. Bids will be received for a stipulated sum contract. Each bid must be submitted electronically with an uploaded copy of the bid security. The project aims for a 10% participation goal for certified Targeted Small Businesses, and a preference will be given to products and provisions grown and coal produced within the State of Iowa. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities, and accept the bid deemed in the best interest of the owner.
