Site work for a water / sewer project in Blackshear, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The work consists of the construction of approximately ± 3,669 linear feet of pipe bursting 8” gravity sewer truss pipe, approximately ± 14 manhole rehabilitations, reconnecting ± 24 services, and all appurtenances necessary to complete the job. All work must be completed within 75 consecutive calendar days of the notice to proceed. Bids must be submitted on the provided Bid Proposal Forms in accordance with the Contract Documents and Specifications. Bids must be sealed and filed with the City of Blackshear before the specified time, accompanied by a Bidder's Bond for 10 percent of the bid amount. The successful bidder must enter into a contract and provide required Payment Bond, Performance Bond, and Insurance Certificates. Bids arriving late will be returned unopened. No bids may be withdrawn for 60 days after opening. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to overlook informalities or irregularities in proposals. Question Deadline 12/30/2025 To receive consideration, such questionsshall be submitted in writing to the Engineer at least 7 days before the advertised date for receipt of bids. In general, the Engineer will neither approve nor disapprove particular products prior to opening of the bids; such products will be considered when offered by the Contractor for incorporation into the work.
