Site work and paving for a road / highway in Glenwood, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.
The work consists of the construction of street resurfacing for Holmes Street, Sawmill Street, and Carroll Street as part of the Fy2025 Rebuild Alabama Act Annual Grant Program in Glenwood, Alabama. The contract includes approximately 700 tons of bituminous asphalt wearing surface, 150 tons of bituminous asphalt upper binder, 75 tons of bituminous asphalt leveling, 110 square feet of traffic control markings, 8 roadbed stations of roadbed processing and roadbed/ditch grading, and other associated project items. Bids must be submitted on complete proposals made available by the owner. Bidders must provide security with their bid as specified in the information for bidders. The successful bidder will be required to submit a 100% performance bond and a 50% payment bond. All bidders must comply with the requirements of the Contractor's Licensing Law of the State of Alabama and be certified for the type of work for which a proposal is submitted. The current State of Alabama license number must be submitted before a bid will be received or considered. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.
