Renovation of a mixed-use development in Syracuse, New York. Working plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

Contractor shall prepare the site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades as required by drawings and specifications. The scope includes upgrading facility fiber throughout the buildings to each IT closet, providing redundant fiber runs and redundant fiber mains to the demarcation room from the provider point, and installing Cat 6A cabling from IT closets to all points of use. Additional work includes installation of IT and electrical outlets throughout the facility, adding outlets in each IT closet, upgrading facility power distribution including UPS, upgrading HVAC distribution, enhancing physical security, abating hazardous materials, and constructing a new Data Center server room. Work encompasses Buildings 1, 2, 16, the Rome Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), and the site. Location: Syracuse VA Medical Center, 800 Irving Ave, Syracuse, NY 13210. The solicitation will be issued in mid to late February of 2026. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the magnitude of construction is between $20,000,000.00 and $50,000,000.00. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
