Renovation of a laboratory facility in Syracuse, New York. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade laboratory facility.
Full design services (programming, design, construction documents, bidding, and construction administration) are required of an architect/engineering team for the renovation of third-floor space in the Biotech Accelerator building into a flex laboratory space. The work involves converting underutilized administrative space on the East end of the third floor of the CNY Biotech Accelerator into flexible mini wet lab space for early to mid-stage approved client companies. Firms must have a minimum of five years of experience in designing academic/medical research laboratories. Firms must be legally authorized by the NYS Education Department and provide proof of New York State Worker’s Compensation Insurance and Disability Insurance coverage. Qualifications must be submitted as five complete packages, three of which must have original signatures and two on separate flash drives. All respondents must make a good faith effort to utilize NYS certified minority- and women-owned businesses and meet established participation goals: 16% MBE, 14% WBE, and 6% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business of the total contract value.
