Description

Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Syracuse, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project.

Northline Utilities is bidding on the Metropolitan Syracuse Substation Asset Renewal Project for the County of Onondoga, New York. This project consists of replacement of the main high-voltage electrical substation at the Metropolitan Syracuse Wastewater Treatment Plant (Metro WWTP), including replacement of disconnects, circuit breakers, surge arresters, transformers and medium-voltage switchgear; demolition of the existing Carpenter Shop, installation of a new structural foundation and piles, hazardous material abatement, demolition of the existing substation area, completion of related site work and restoration of the existing substation area to a topsoiled area. We are looking to partner with certified M/WBE and SDVOB subcontractors and suppliers for the below scopes of work. Civil - Demolition, concrete foundations/piles, excavation, hazardous material abatement, etc. Security camera installation and configuration. Installation of precast cable trench systems (via Concast). Transformer oil containment liner installation. Procurement of (2) 34.5kV - 5kV - 7,500/9,375 kVA Transformers. Minority / Women Business Enterprise contracting goals (MWBE) MBE Goal: 18.00% WBE Goal: 12.00%
