Site work and paving for a road / highway in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This will be for 3 contracts specifically dedicated to the Asphalt Resurfacing Program in Areas 1, 2 and 3. Three (3) separate contracts will be awarded. Each contract includes two (2) one-year renewal options at the City's sole discretion, with a 3.5% price increase per renewal. Renewals maintain original quantities and scope. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the classes of work as Pavement Surfacing for each contract with an estimated three-year value of $20,997,324 will be required. A contractor that is not prequalified for the value above but wants to bid a project must submit a waiver request to MassDOT at least 2 weeks prior to the project's bid opening date.
