Demolition of the existing Pre-kinder yard of asphalt play surface, rubberized materials, and drinking fountain. The new yard will have new elevation grades to meet ADA with new concrete pavement, install the owner own miracle play structure with rubberized pad, and address path of travel with new concrete ramps to the play area and classrooms. The contract time is anticipated to be Eighty-one (81) consecutive calendar days. Pre-qualification requirements: Prospective bidders are required to submit online prequalification documents by registering with Quality Bidders. Bids will not be accepted if a Contractor has not been prequalified. Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the California Business and Professions Code, and be licensed to perform the work called for in the Contract Documents. The successful prime contractor must possess a valid and active B License at the time of bid and throughout the duration of this Contract. Subcontractors shall be licensed pursuant to California law for the trades necessary to perform the Work. Contractors and subcontractors must be currently registered and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. All bidders must submit a completed and signed Community Workforce Agreement (CWA) Letter of Assent with their Bid Proposal. Subcontractors must also submit the CWA Letter of Assent to perform any Work on this project. There will be a mandatory pre-bid conference and job walk. Respondents who assisted in the preparation of materials or Scope of Work for solicitation documents are not eligible to compete for award.
