The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, services and incidentals necessary for the Work of Demo and removal of existing playground including existing pavements, curbs, playground surfaces, fence and gate, landscape, drinking fountain, and existing playground equipment, and install New Shade Structure, Concrete Pavements, Playground Equipment, New Playground Surfacing(PIP), New Fence and Gate, and new drinking fountains at the site below as set forth in the Construction Documents which include, but are not limited to, the Site Plans, diagrams, Addenda and Specifications. 1. New concrete walkways to meet ADA compliance and drinking fountains. The contract time is anticipated to be forty-nine (49) consecutive calendar days. Bids will not be accepted if a Contractor has not been prequalified. Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the California Business and Professions Code, and be licensed to perform the work called for in the Contract Documents. The successful prime contractor must possess a valid and active B License at the time of bid and throughout the duration of this Contract. Subcontractors shall be licensed pursuant to California law for the trades necessary to perform the Work called for in the Contract Documents. A contractor or subcontractor shall not be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5.
