Renovation of an office development in Battle Mountain, Nevada. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 989-square-foot office development.
In accordance with the Contract Plans and Specifications, the Project consists of a floorplan modification to build three new offices and extend a partial wall to the ceiling in existing office, install a variable speed mini-split heat pump with associated air distribution and HVAC ducting and controls with minor supporting electrical and plumbing improvements in a 989 square foot building as indicated in the drawings. Although it may not be shown explicitly on the drawings in some cases, the scope also includes all materials and labor to return the entire office to a finished condition, including but not limited to framing, drywall, wall insulation, texture and paint, new doors and window(s) where required, finish carpentry, flooring patching/repair, and electrical circuitry and lighting. Architectural elements and finishes will be coordinated directly with NDOW upon contract award, through product submittals and approvals. The entire site will NOT be turned over to the contractor and must remain open to the public during construction. Contractor must accommodate ongoing operations (mostly administrative in nature) for the duration of the project. All proposals must include a bid bond of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid. The successful bidder must, within ten days of award, enter into a contract, and furnish certificates of insurance and necessary bonds. The Owner may award to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder, but reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bids for sixty days after opening. Bidders and subcontractors must be qualified per NRS 338.1379 to 338.1382, hold appropriate Nevada contractor licenses, and possess any required local business licenses. All questions shall be received prior to 5:00 P.M. local time on Monday, December 22, 2025 The results of bidding will be reported by the Owner within 30 days of the bid opening, at which time the Owner may award the Contract to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder as so reported; however, said Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding for any reason whatsoever. No bidder shall withdraw his or her bid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the date of the opening thereof. All bidders and their proposed subcontractors must be qualified pursuant to NRS 338.1379 to 338.1382 to bid on the contract. Additionally, all bidders and their proposed subcontractors must hold a valid license of a class corresponding to the work to be performed as required by the State of Nevada's Contractor's License Law and possess any applicable business licenses in the local jurisdiction of the work
