Question Deadline 12/29/2025 Prospective Bidders desiring an explanation or interpretation of the Bid Documents, shall request the explanation or interpretation in writing by close of business. The Engineers estimated range of probable cost is $300K - $400K. This project will install generators at 6 locations for the city's critical water infrastructure sites. The city has purchased, and has all the generators, ATS and accessories as listed in the specifications and plan sheets in storage. The major items of work include transporting the equipment from the city's storage area to each site, installing generators, start up and testing. Site preparations include concrete pads and installation of ATS at some site. All work shall be completed in accordance with the contract plans and Specifications. Site Directions: The City of Wenatchee is located in Eastern Washington between Leavenworth and Rock Island on the west side of the Columbia River. The City can be reached from the north by Hwy 2, from the West by Interstate 90 and Highway 97 or from the south by Interstate 90. City Hall is located at 301 Yakima Street Wenatchee, WA 98801 in downtown Wenatchee. We also have other public works facilities throughout town, all are within 20-minute drive from city hall. The project is funded with a FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant. All work performed on the project will be subject to Federal and State prevailing wage rates. The higher of the Federal and State wage rates will apply. All Work performed on this project will be subject to the Davis-Bacon Act.
