Remodeling of a laboratory facility in Belmont, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the remodel of a one-story above grade laboratory facility.
Provide and install electrical and plumbing to the designated equipment in the Fiber Innovation Center. This will allow operation of yarn equipment. 1. Install piping for three (3) compressed air drops. 2. Provide and install three (3) electrical circuits to power equipment. 3. Provide and install a new transformer and service panel. 4. Daily cleanup of all work areas, paths of entry and material delivery and removal. 5. Any damage to buildings, walkways, and foliage will be the responsibility of the contractor to repair or replace at their expense. 6. Any deficiencies found in the installation of materials used in the installation that would prevent receiving a green tag from inspectors will be the contractor's responsibility and expense to correct. Air tests will be performed to meet the OSHA standards. 7. The owner is to receive training on all new equipment for facilities maintenance, training to include a schedule walk-through for maintenance personnel.
