Site work for a laboratory facility in Belmont, North Carolina. Working plans call for site work for a laboratory facility.
**As of February 6, 2026, Project will rebid, No definite date for the rebid.** Provide services for the installation of new process equipment components being installed in the Fiber Innovation Center Building. The chilled water system will be comprised of the following: provide and install one knockdown tank, 304 stainless steel, with adequate connections as indicated on the piping plan; balance existing exhaust fan to cfm indicated on the plans, or remove existing and provide and install new roof mounted exhaust fan as indicated; replace portion of window with makeup damper/louver; provide and install new stainless-steel piping as indicated on the plans from the various equipment connections to the knockdown tank, with piping routed tight to walls to avoid trip hazard; provide and install new chilled water branch piping from the existing chiller water main piping to the equipment as indicated on the plans; provide and install all valves, temperature gauges, pressure gauges and all other appurtenances as needed or indicated on the mechanical drawings and the PIDs; refer to piping schematic attached for additional information; provide and install new vent piping through roof and drain piping to floor drain from various equipment as indicated on plans; provide and install all electrical wiring and conduit from the electrical panels to the equipment as indicated on the electrical plans; provide and install all breakers, disconnects, switches, outlets, etc. to provide for a complete and operable system; remove existing fire alarm beam detectors within the space and replace with heat detectors as specified and indicated on the plans.
