The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to evaluate and prequalify Subcontractors for work on the City of Ramsey - Waterfront Park project. The Waterfront Park project will create a new park in the City of Ramsey. The park will have a large water play area, support building with bathrooms, pavilions, sitewide landscaping, and other amenities. Prequalified firms will have the opportunity to submit competitive proposals for the bid packages identified in the table below. This project involves constructing a new park for the City of Ramsey, that features a splash pad, pre-engineered park building, irrigation, and various site amenities. The primary scope of work for bid package 610 - General Construction will be installing a pre-engineered support building for the park. The building will have bathrooms and support the parks other features. The 610 subcontractor will be responsible for concrete footing, CMU foundations, CMU walls, roofing, and finishes. Most of the building materials for this structure will be provided by the Owner. Other miscellaneous tasks will be assigned to this subcontractor. Construction of the building will begin on March 2, 2026.
