Renovation of a mixed-use development in Spring Lake, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility; and one-story above grade educational facility.
Sealed bids, in triplicate, are requested for renovations at Spring Lake Public Schools, specifically for the Middle School, Jeffers, and Holmes Elementary. Bids must be submitted by 2:00PM at the specified location. Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered. All bids will be opened and read publicly. Submission by fax, email, or online upload is not accepted. Each bid must include a notarized Familial Disclosure Statement. Bidders are encouraged to attend a pre-bid meeting at the Spring Lake Middle School. Bidding documents are available at designated websites and locations. Bidders must be reputable organizations with at least five years of successful experience on similar projects, possess required licenses, and have sufficient financial resources. Each bid must include bid security or a bond of at least 5% of the bid amount. The successful bidder must also provide Performance, Labor, and Material bonds for contracts exceeding $50,000, from a qualified surety company for the full contract amount.
