Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work generally consists of coating and miscellaneous improvements at two separate water storage tank sites. Work at the Mt. Vernon Rd tank site includes abrasive blasting and recoating of the wet interior and exterior within containment, application of City name and logo, furnishing and installing a submersible mixer, and other metals and site improvements. Work at the Wilson Ave tank site includes power-washing the exterior of the tank, application of an exterior overcoat, application of City name and logo, furnishing and installing a submersible mixer and impressed cathodic protection system, and other metals and site improvements. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis. Mt Vernon Tank: The structure is a 1,000,000 gallon toroellipse elevated water storage tank with a high-water level of 82 ft. 6 in. located at the corner of 4296 Mt. Vernon Rd. SE in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Wilson Tank: The structure is a 2,000,000 gallon fluted column elevated water storage tank with a low-water level of 111 ft. located at 5150 Wilson Ave. SW in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
