Renovation of a military facility in Oxford, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 321,173-square-foot military facility.
Sealed bids are requested for the Oxford Renovation in Oxford, Alabama. Certified checks or bid bonds payable to The Armory Commission of Alabama, not less than five percent of the bid amount up to $10,000, must accompany each bid proposal. Completed Disclosure Statements are preferred with the proposal. Performance and Payment bonds are required at contract signing. All entities must be registered to do business in Alabama, and those bidding over $100,000 must be licensed per Alabama state code. Plans and specifications are available for public inspection and can be obtained from JMR+H Architecture for a $300 deposit, refundable upon return in good condition within ten calendar days of the bid date. Only bidders who officially obtain documents from JMR+H Architecture are considered official plan holders. Other prospective bidders must notify JMR+H Architecture in writing of their intent to bid. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the pre-bid conference; errors or omissions resulting from non-attendance will not be grounds for compensation. Questions should be addressed, in writing, to Renae Williams at JMR+H Architecture, specs@jmrha.com no later than 2:00 p.m. CT, Friday, January 09, 2026. The types of work specified in this section include the following: 1. Furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, staging areas, hoisting, qualified personnel and proper supervision for the work described in the drawings and specifications. 2. Protection of the buildings, grounds, building personnel and visitors. A Pre-Bid Conference was conducted at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 2, 2026, at FMTC Building 2299, Anniston, Alabama.
