Project No. 23107, 25AA-11H, EDG006, 2500942 The work includes furnishing all labor, equipment and materials necessary to complete the work including North Marina Redevelopment to include the Installation of a steel sheet pile wall replacement seawall, and associated tieback assembly. Fabrication and installation of fixed platforms. Construction of a floating dock system with installation of associated fendering, mooring cleats, signage, and safety ladders as designated. Installation of gangway ramps connecting the fixed platforms to the floating dock system. Placement of rip-rap support stone and woody debris habitat structures, Installation of all associated anchorage devices for both fixed and floating structures. Grading of the upland site in conjunction with new features and specified grades, slopes, wales etc. Furnishing and installation of a marina bathhouse building and adjacent concrete promenade and replacement sidewalks. Furnishing and installation of upland utilities to include sanitary, gas, electrical, and potable water systems as shown. Furnishing and installation of upland landscaping, native plantings, furnishings, and site lighting as shown. Furnishing and installation of marine utility pedestals and fire pedestals. Installation of marina utility lines and features, including water, electrical, and dry fire, with connections as necessary to existing site utilities. Existing asphalt parking lot improvements & access additions, and related work, and to provide all plant, labor, supplies, new and current materials, transportation, equipment, and incidental and related items necessary to complete this Work. The Contractor agrees to perform the entire Work in accordance with: the Drawings and Specifications entitled "North Marina Redevelopment", Lake St. Clair Metropark, Macomb County, Michigan", Project No. 502-23-702; this Contract Form; and the Contract Documents, as more fully described below. State or federal funds are being used to assist in construction and relevant State or federal requirements will apply. Grant funding by the Land Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) and Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) For grants funded by the State of Michigan, the rates of wages and fringe benefits to be paid to each class of construction mechanics by the Contractor and all of its subcontractors shall be not less than the wage and fringe benefit rates prevailing in the locality in which the work is to be performed. Bids shall be submitted on the form included in the bidding documents, and shall be accompanied by a Cashier's Check, Certified Check or Bid Bond underwritten by a surety licensed in the State of Michigan, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a contract.
