Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Summary of Work A. Contractor is responsible for temporary water mains and bypass sewer pumping, if necessary, to ensure service is maintained. B. Sidewalks and curb to be backfilled to surface with Class 6 material, and not replaced, in areas where the W291 Entryway Project has replacements planned in 2026. C. Schedule of work activities shall be coordinated and approved by Director of Public Works prior to starting Work. D. Contractor shall sweep up and remove all loose material from the streets. E. All asphalt maintenance shall be in accordance with Section 02740 - Flexible Pavement and City of Salida Standards For Construction. Traffic control and signage are the responsibility of the Contractor and shall be in accordance with MUTCD standards. The project for which the work under the Contract Documents may be the whole or only a part is generally described as follows: 1st Street Utility Replacement Project :The project is to include all labor and materials necessary for construction of water, sewer, and infrastructure as identified on the plans.
