Site work for a development in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a development.

The work includes the removal of the soil berm along the western boundary of the property (approximately 10,000 cubic yards), removal of trees and other vegetation throughout the balance of the property within the proposed remediation limits, removal of impacted soils on the balance of the property (approximately 7,400 cubic yards), and removal of visually observed solid waste throughout the balance of the property across approximately 24,000 square feet. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope with the name of the bidder and endorsed, "Impacted Soils Removal at the Zabriskie-Schedler Property, In the Village of Ridgewood" and must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond (Schedule B), drawn to the order of the Village of Ridgewood for ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, or $20,000, whichever is less; a Consent of Surety (Schedule A); a Corporation or Partnership Statement (Schedule C); a Non-Collusion Affidavit (Schedule D); a Statement of Responsibility (Schedule E); Disclosure of Investment Activities in Iran (Schedule I); and the Certification of Non-debarment (Schedule J). All required schedules A, B, C, D, E, F, I, and J are required to be submitted on the forms attached to the bid documents. No other forms will be accepted. The successful bidder shall comply with all applicable provisions of the Prevailing Wage Act as determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor, and all contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers must comply with all applicable provisions of the Public Works Contractor Registration Act and the Contractor Business Registration Program. Evidence of satisfactory registrations is required at the time of the bid. The bidder must also submit a copy of their New Jersey Business Registration Certificate and Certificate of Employee Information Report. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the accepted bid amount and provide the necessary insurance policies or certificates as required by the Contract. Proposals from bidders or insurance companies not chartered in New Jersey must be accompanied by certificates from the Secretary of State indicating authorization to do business in New Jersey. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, or to accept a bid in its best interest. No bids may be withdrawn for sixty days after the bid opening. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.
