The work consists of replacing approximately 40 square yards of deteriorated and failed exposed washed aggregate concrete decorative sidewalk on the approaches to the bridge over the park’s dam spillway. Instructions to bidders include: Specifications and bid forms may be obtained for a non-refundable fee or requested electronically at no charge. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope with the name of the bidder and endorsed with the project title. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond for $5,000, a Consent of Surety, Corporation or Partnership Statement, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Statement of Responsibility, Disclosure of Investment Activities in Iran, and Federal Non-Debarment Certification. All required schedules must be completed on forms provided in the bid documents. The successful bidder must comply with the Prevailing Wage Act, Public Works Contractor Registration Act, and Contractor Business Registration Program. Evidence of satisfactory registrations, New Jersey Business Registration Certificate, and Certificate of Employee Information Report must be submitted. The successful bidder must provide a performance and payment bond in the amount of $25,000 and required insurance certificates. The Village retains the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities.
