Construction manager award expected by end of February 2026, short list posted. Construction notice to proceed expected June 2026 and completion November 2027. This project will upgrade the existing sprinkler coverage in Doan Hall, located at 410 W 10th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43210, to meet NFPA 2012 requirements. The updated code requires all health care facilities to be protected by an automatic sprinkler system. Inadequate areas within Doan Hall have been identified via Koffel Life Safety Reports and must be remedied prior to June 2028. In addition to the sprinkler rework, this project will include minor renovation scope throughout the building. As we activate the New Inpatient Hospital and move services out of this building, this project will renovate various areas, converting clinical spaces into office space. This minor renovation scope includes removing all medical gas and patient restroom plumbing fixtures on floors 6-11. This project will also address any code compliance concerns as a result of the change in use. The CMR will be required to provide pricing and constructability assessments for all backfill and renovation options being considered.
