Renovation of a mixed-use development in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Design plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and laboratory facility.
Plans call to renovate the existing building and add a high-school-sized gym that can also function as an auditorium. The athletic addition will be built to the north of the existing building, along Union Street, alongside the soon-to-be-constructed Family and Community Resource Center. The new academic building will be built to the south, along the front of the existing building. As of January 6, 2026, the project is in design. The construction document completion timeline has not been disclosed. A tentative bid schedule for contractors has not been released. Construction is slated to begin Spring 2027 with completion date of Summer 2029.
