The work consists of Renovation of classroom areas indicated on drawings including demolition of items and installation of new items such as: walls, ceilings, doors, windows, frames, mechanical systems, electrical systems, etc. Question Deadline 01/13/2026 Every request for such interpretation should be in writing, addressed to Wakely Associates Inc. Attn: Brian J. Smilnak, AIA at this office, and to be given consideration, must be received at least five (5) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Sealed bids are required for renovations at Lutz School. Bids must be submitted by the specified deadline to the Macomb Intermediate School District. Bids received after the deadline will not be opened, considered, or accepted. All bids must be submitted on provided forms and include a bidder's bond, or a certified or cashier's check for at least five percent of the bid amount, payable to Macomb Intermediate School District. Bids must also be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship between the bidder (or any of their employees) and any member of the Macomb Intermediate School District School Board, Administration, or Staff. Failure to include the required bond, check, or disclosure statement will be grounds for rejection. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, and to accept the bid that best serves its interests. Bidding documents are available from Wakely Associates Inc.
