Reference Number 0000404792 The general scope of work is outlined below: Work under this contract shall consist of traffic control, utility coordination, pavement removal and replacement, materials, equipment, labor and restoration required to rehabilitate sanitary sewer leads from the house to the public sewer main. The work under this contract includes the CIPP rehabilitation of six (6) existing sewer laterals that are composed of vitrified clay pipe ranging in length of 35 feet to 95 feet at varying tap depths as shown on the plans. All the proposed sewer laterals to be rehabilitated by CIPP connect to public sewers that exist within the street right-of-way. The accepted bidder shall be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond, and Labor and Material Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price, and Maintenance and Guarantee Bond of 100% for two years of the Final Contract Price. The cost of the bonds will be paid by the accepted bidder. The project shall commence immediately following a notice to proceed per these contract documents. Substantial completion of this work is required by March 31, 2026 with restoration and Final Completion is required by May 15, 2026. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after receipt of bids. The Charter Township of Clinton reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to award the agreement to other than the low proposal, to negotiate the terms and conditions of all and any part of the bids, to waive irregularities and/or formalities, and in general to make award in the manner as determined to be in the Township's best interest and its sole discretion.
