Reference Number 0000404882 In order to provide Clinton Township with contractors and subcontractors who will carry out the work in a timely and satisfactory manner, an approved prequalification for Cured in Place Pipe Lining for Sanitary Sewers and Sanitary Sewer Cleaning and Televising for the 2025 calendar year must be on file with the Township prior to the bid opening. The qualifications for the general contractor and all subcontractors to be used on the project will be reviewed on the basis of the proposed bidder's past performance on work of a similar nature for Clinton Township and other owners. For this particular project, prequalification packages must be received by the Water & Sewer Division no later than 5 business days prior to the bid opening. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor and equipment necessary and incidental to complete the Work as set forth in this bid advertisement in accordance with the Charter Township of Clinton standards. These principal items include, but are not limited to: Full Length C.I.P.P. Lining of 10" Sanitary Sewers 3,400 LF Full Length C.I.P.P. Lining of 12" Sanitary Sewers 3,600 LF together with other related items of work as well as deliverables. A certified check, bank draft, or satisfactory bid bond, executed by the bidder and a surety company, payable to Clinton Township, in an amount at least equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount, shall be submitted with each bid. The accepted bidder shall be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond, and Labor and Material Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price, and Maintenance and Guarantee Bond of 100% for two years of the Final Contract Price. The cost of the bonds will be paid by the accepted bidder. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after receipt of bids.
