Professional design firms (engineering firms) are encouraged to submit statements of qualifications for consultation, investigation, evaluation, planning, design, or inspection of construction. Surveyors are also encouraged to submit statements of qualifications for surveying. The Village may pursue preparation of plans for various projects in 2026, including but not limited to: various functions of sanitary sewer collection and treatment; water treatment and distribution; road repair and road improvements; surveying; grant applications; and electric distribution. For any projects with an estimated professional design fee of less than fifty thousand dollars, the Village plans to select a single design professional or firm from among those that have submitted a current statement of qualifications within the immediate preceding year. Statements of qualifications should be submitted by January 23rd, 2026, but will continue to be accepted after this date. Only firms that have submitted statements of qualifications before the Village begins ranking firms for a specific project will be considered for that project.
