Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hudson, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; water / sewer project; playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a road / highway.

A full reconstruction of the pavement section is assumed due to its poor condition and need for underground utility improvements. The existing pavement section is assumed to be a combination of concrete, brick pavers and asphalt. The city would like the proposed pavement section to be concrete. Utility improvements will include replacement of all public utilities located within the project area, including watermain, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer. Based on the age and condition of these utilities, full removal and replacement is recommended. The project also includes reconstructing the entrance to Lakefront Park at 1st Street and Locust Street to enhance pedestrian safety and provide a welcoming gateway into the park. The following tasks are to be completed: project management with effective communication and coordination, including monthly meetings with city staff and preparation of meeting agendas and minutes. The city reserves the right to add or remove tasks during negotiations with the successful proposer to meet cost restraints or desired outcomes. The project is planned for construction and completion in 2027.
