PG&E is preparing to trench and install 160-feet of 3-inch duct and secondary cable along the easterly side of Caledonia St., from the northerly side of Litho St. southwards to 304 Caledonia St. The trench will be located in both in the Litho St. travel way of and in the Litho St. and Caledonia St. sidewalks. bid submission note - The sealed envelope or box must be plainly endorsed with Proposer's name and address and contain one hard copy and one electronic copy (on either CD or flash drive) of the Proposal. Purpose of Project The selected consultant ("Consultant") must have the ability and experience to provide comprehensive technical and administrative assistance for the Project. The Consultant must demonstrate the capacity to work with City representatives, cItizens, professional service consultants, designers and engineers, and construction companies related to the Project. The Project is located on Currey Lane, Toyon Lane and Platt Ave. Ave. in Sausalito CA. The Consultant will provide the following services to the City (as further detailed in Section 6 (Scope of Services) below): 1. Enforcement of the City of Sausalito's Encroachment Permit OEZ2023-1120. The Consultant will: Document all relative work associated with Encroachment Permit OEZ2023-1120, Provide regular reports on the progress of PG&E's project and schedule In conjunction with the City, coordinate, log, manage, and respond to submittals, requests for information (RFIs), and other project correspondence submitted by PG&E & it contractor(s) relative to Encroachment Permit OEZ2023-1120. Attend project meetings, including a pre-construction meeting, as may be necessary to enforce Encroachment Permit OEZ2023-1120 and provide construction schedule updates to City staff. Have a stop work process in cases where the PG&E's work is found not to be performed as specified by Encroachment Permit OEZ2023-1120. Corrected orders must be properly documented and reported to the City. Provide sufficient documentation to adequately account for time spent and justification should additional funds be required from PG&E for inspection. Assist in communication with the public about the progress of PG&E's project. The Consultant shall be responsible for managing its work and keeping the City advised of its budget and notify the City well in advance should the Consultant believe additional funding for its work will be required from PG&E. The Contract Performance time for the Project is 60 calendar days.
