The scope of work generally includes improvements to the Leland Center Salt Storage facility (Contract A) and Municipal Salt Storage facility (Contract B), including but not limited to select demolition, structural repairs/modifications, replacement of roll-up doors, sectional doors, man doors, light fixture replacement, and painting and coatings and all necessary appurtenances. There are Add Alternates for cleaning and sealing the exterior masonry; adding new door opening and replacement of retaining wall. All bidders are required to buy the Bid Documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit. Pre-qualification requirements: In accordance with Baldwin Borough Ordinance No. 933, bidders on this work are required to be included on the Borough's Pre-Qualified Bidders List. The grant will be used for construction, engineering, and administrative costs associated with the Leland Salt Storage Building Improvements Project located in Baldwin Borough, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
