Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Des Peres, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The scope of work consists of the leveling of approximately 658 concrete sidewalk slabs, spread throughout the city, by cementitious grout injection. Slabs to be leveled will be marked prior to the start of work by city staff. Most sidewalk within the city is four feet wide, but there may be a few locations that are five feet wide. These slabs have settled over time, holding water and/or creating trip hazards. Traffic control and other incidental items shall be included as shown in the specifications. Timing of the work is flexible, but once work commences, it must be completed within 30 calendar days. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workers performing under this contract according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri. A bid security in the amount of ten percent of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the instructions to bidders. The city reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the city. Two copies of the bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the project name, date, and time of opening clearly written on the envelope Question Deadline 01/21/2026 Bidders may request clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents by making a written request which shall reach the City at least seven (7) days prior to the date for receipt of bids.
