Site work and paving for a road / highway in Des Peres, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Scope of Work includes preparing and sealing of cracks and joints in city streets, providing traffic control and other incidental items as indicated on the construction drawings and specifications. The work is anticipated to take place in April 2026, weather permitting. The streets have either been crack sealed in 2024 or resurfaced/reconstructed since, so the amount of material needed should be lower than for a first-time application. In general, the western half of the city is crack sealed in odd years, and the eastern half in even years. All bidders are expected to visit the project locations and become familiar with conditions. A detailed Street List and map are included. Bids and payment are to be based upon Centerline Feet, and actual quantities will not be measured in the field. Two copies of the bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the project name, date, and time of opening clearly written on the envelope. A bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City. Question Deadline 01/14/2026
