Reference Number 0000408454 Question Deadline 01/27/2026 at 4:30 PM ET Questions are submitted online No The work consists of furnishing all labor, material, and equipment required for 2048 square yards of crushing and shaping HMA surface, 2531 square yards of HMA paving, 705 square feet of concrete sidewalk, lawn restoration, local traffic control, pavement markings, and related items of work incidental thereto as shown on the drawings or specified in the project manual. A certified check payable to the City of Port Huron, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid. No bid may be withdrawn for at least ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. All bids must be submitted on proposal forms provided by the City of Port Huron for that purpose. The City of Port Huron reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any defects or irregularities in the bid, and to accept any bid deemed most advantageous to the City's interests. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance, labor and materials bonds, maintenance and guarantee bonds, and insurance certificates. All bidders are required to qualify according to the bidder qualification regulations for contractors bidding on City of Port Huron contracts as set forth in the instruction to bidders. Contractor must comply with the City of Port Huron Uniform City Income Tax Ordinance. The project is funded with assistance from a Michigan Department of Natural Resources Program, and all successful bidders shall comply with all requirements for state or federal funds, as well as all related federal, state, and local orders, public acts, executive directives and ordinances.
